NQT Programmes

Once you have achieved QTS and/or PGCE status at the end of the training year you will become an NQT, a newly qualified teacher, in either the school you have trained in or another school.

Further training and support continues during the NQT year; the scope will be dependent on the school you are employed at but often consist of a fortnightly/monthly twilight training sessions after school alongside the normal training which all teachers and ancillary staff partake in.
